Maddy Moon is giving us an *inside* look at the EPIC final moments of the annual 6th grade Innovation Fair! This enthusiastic 5th grader is deep into her research project, testing the hypothesis that everyone has a bully - inside! She introduces us to Jess, Taylor and Richard, as well as the inner bullies who are trying to sabotage these bright kids. As kids face their bullies, they each learn valuable lessons about managing negative self-criticism, being true to themselves and standing up for others.
theatrestars
Created in 2012, theatrestars was a non-profit theatre company whose purpose was to enrich, educate, and entertain by providing free theatrical entertainment to elderly communities in the Thousand Oaks, CA area.
Matt served as the Artistic Director and show director for the full run of the company. Productions included The Celebrated Jumping Frog of Calaveras County (2012), A Very theatrestars Christmas (2012), Mind Over Matt (2013), and Getting Sara Married (2014).
During it's existence, theatrestars entertained hundreds of senior citizens in the Thousand Oaks area and received praise from residents and staff. For his work with theatrestars, Matthew was awarded a Christian Service Award by the Archdiocese of Los Angeles.
